Interested in Fostering

The children placed with us come from all kinds of backgrounds and are usually, confused, scared, angry and feel let down. Make no mistake fostering is a challenging occupation but it is also very rewarding and makes a real difference to children who are in crisis.

If you are interested in becoming a foster carer we would be delighted to talk to you and tell you more about what's involved.

We need cares from all kinds of backgrounds who are:

• Available to foster full time.
• Have a spare room available for the child or children placed with you.
• Have a genuine interest in working with children.
• Are able to work as part of a team.
• Prepared to attend regular training and support groups.
• Actively promote equality and antidiscriminatory practice.
• Are over 21 years of age.

There must be no one in your household that has committed criminal offences of violence or offences against children.
